Fluorides
Fluoride is universally accepted by dentists as being very useful in preventing cavity through the process of remineralisation of enamel . It is specially important for children with erupting teeth who are aged between 6-12 years. Professionally applied fluorides are in the form of a gel, foam or rinse. These fluorides are more concentrated than the self-applied fluorides, such as those in fluoride-containing toothpastes, and therefore are not needed as frequently. A Periodic Tooth Cleaning is important for several reasons. It lets us remove the tartar and plaque that build up around your teeth, helping prevent periodontal disease.
